the outcome of the 2 guys who violated the sedition act were jailed. so watch what you blog cuz an action evokes a consequences.

another person is charged with sedition for racist remarks on blog site. this marks the 3rd person within a week to be charged with the same offence. hearing is on 21 sep.

all are free to comment but be mindful of what we say since the goverment is advocating harmony among all people livinv within this small island.

'Desal H2O'

with another source of water supply running to the taps of our homes, are we going to pay about the same or lesser/more? it is said that the "desal h2o" costs 78 cents per cubic metre and it is one of the cheapest rates in the world. CEO of Hyflux stated that this price should be the same for the next 3 years but what after that? will the new source of "desal h20" be successful as compared to "NEWater" that was sanitaised 3 years ago?

all these 40 years, the lion city has been very dependent with our neigbour's water supplies, particularly JB and previously Indonesia as the local reservoirs from rain catchment areas aren't sufficient to meet the increasing demands of water needs. perhaps the new source will be good for bi-lateral relationship with both the lion and the tiger countries. comparatively, political vis a vis the cost of living within and which outweighs?

2 bloggers charged!

now even blogging has to be mindful... no anti-racist contents. wonder what are the guidelines for the blogging community? 2 bloggers are charged today and CNA bring us the news.

it is like Speakers' Corner @ Hong Lim Square, we probably have to apply a permit? repressing the views from the people? yes, in certain aspect it is good to have a certain degree of policing but not every matters. not sure how these 2 bloggers get themselves in such serious s**t. have to wait till 21 Sep to get a clearer picture.

dengue fever outbreak

wonder what is the goverment doing when they have seen the increase of dengue fever since 3-4 weeks ago. in addition of that the news also reflected that Jan to Jul this year, there is an increase of the patients on such cases... now then they are willing to fork out the money to do saliva and blood tests! and someone from the health ministry said, wanted to half the dengue cases but no mention of timeline...
